Even-Achieving: The Art and Science of Balancing Stress with Success
High performers love a challenge. And to know that in the end, we gave our best. So, we take on more projects and responsibility because we can’t let the task drop or let anyone down-- including ourselves. Which is stressful. We know this practice isn’t sustainable, so we take a vacation, go to yoga class, or invest in time management skills. When none of that solves the stress, we either get stuck or burn out and we assume stress is simply the cost of success. But what if there’s a better way?
Program participants will:
- Understand why the usual advice when we’re stressed out doesn’t work.
- Identify what we get wrong about stress and see how to put stress to work for us
- Change their approach so they can champion their achievements without it costing their health or their relationships
