“eWomenNetwork has been one of the best investments for me on a personal and professional basis. My Emmy Awards journey started on a night in July of 2008 at the Conference in Dallas. It was an out of body experience. While bidding on the auction, I felt I was floating above myself and watching "ME" take my chance of a lifetime.
The "WOW" moment for me was when the limo dropped us off in front of the red carpet, and boom, there they were, Mary Tyler Moore, Howie Mandell, Heidi Klum, Lisa Rena, and many other celebrities. I felt just as special and important as any celebrity on that night. I realized as I walked down the red carpet that they are just like you and me......people who are searching for their purpose and passion.

I want to thank Sandra and Kym Yancey for letting "me" be "me", Barbara Rubin who navigated the Who's Who in Hollywood, and a very special THANK YOU to Mary Ann Halpin, who made me feel like a SUPERSTAR during the photo shoot at her private studio in Los Angeles. Without the Live Auction and it giving everyone a chance to bid, this would have never happened to me.
My advise to anyone who is reading this is to TAKE A CHANCE ON YOURSELF, SHOW UP and PLAY BIG! It will take you to places you can never imagine.”
