Terry Rose created Letters-from-the-Heart as a way to cheer up seniors who live in assisted living or long term care facilities and are socially isolated. Having worked in the mental health field, Terry understands how loneliness and isolation can affect people.
Did you know there are at least two generations of senior citizens living in care facilities? These individuals don’t know how to turn on a computer to check email. They lived in a time when traditional hand-written letters were fun and interesting to get. Today, they are not receiving hand-written personal notes and letters in their mail box. My mission is to bring that enjoyment back to our seniors (and other lonely or isolated people) through Letters-from-the-Heart.
Letters-from-the-Heart sends powerful, personal, special hand-written letters to loved ones. The program lasts 12 months and consists of a monthly letter, a special birthday card and gift and a festive December holiday card and gift. Each hand-written, thoughtful letter is crafted with information you provide us.
Letters-from-the-Heart is the PERFECT gift anytime of year. The cost is less than $21 per month and, eWomenNetwork members receive a special discount!

I have a former client who is a Trust Attorney in Orlando. I wrote to his grandmother until she passed away. He said it was the best gift his family ever gave to her. Apparently, she carried my letters around in her pocket so she could read and re-read them. She was in her 90's when she died. I can't tell you how rewarding I find this program!
Of course, many recipients do not write back due to their age and/or infirmity and that's ok! We even make special arrangements for those with vision limitations. The goal is simply to bring enjoyment and friendship into their lives.
