Jacqueline Wales found her niche as a motivational speaker and coach at the age of nine. While sitting on the steps of her tenement building in Edinburgh, Scotland, she freely gave advice to the neighborhood children. She didn’t realize until 45 years later that she could earn a living doing it!

As the eldest of three, including two brothers, Jacqueline was challenged in several ways. She grew up in poverty, her youngest brother was severely retarded and her father was an alcoholic who loved to fly into a rage and beat his wife and children. Jacqueline could say it was character forming, but there are better ways to form things. Nevertheless, Jacqueline wouldn’t change any of it…….Well…. Maybe one or two things.
