She is a skin cancer survivor (not the really scary kind – but skin cancer none the less) and because of what she went through she felt compelled to do something to help protect her children. After much research she learned about sun protective swimwear - which she was very excited about. But after trying to purchase some for her 3 kids she realized the European styling wasn’t going to work for her kids and probably not many of the kids in America.
